The 15th episode of “Mobile Suit Gundam” (1979), “Cucuruz Doan’s Island” has been adapted into a feature film after more than 40 years from its initial release. The story revolves around Amuro Ray, and Doan, a Zeon deserter meeting and seeing the sorrows of war. Director of the film is “Yoshikazu Yasuhiko”, who was the character designer for the original “Mobile Suit Gundam” TV series.
