In the endless nights of Berlin, a 55 year old Palestinian Uber driver named Hassan shuttles revellers from one party to the next, estranged from his daughter and adrift without purpose. One night a young Israeli tourist exploring his sexuality far from home stumbles into his cab, and months later reappears, now living in Berlin and nursing a broken heart. Across two years of recurring rides, Hassan begins to recognise echoes of his own buried pain, and is finally pushed to confront the past that led him to leave his homeland thirty years ago. Perspectives programme at the 2026 Berlinale. Supported by: Consulate General of Israel in Hong Kong and Macau
